Diabetes: A Global Threat


The number and prevalence of diabetes worldwide continue to grow.


In 2010, it is estimated that 629 million adults worldwide have either diabetes or pre-diabetes (Impaired Glucose Tolerance). By 2030, this number is expected to grow to 910 million adults, an increase of 44%.
